The Colour of Pomegranates: Esol Shared Reading In-Person

We’ve got a brand new Shared Reading group coming to Bootle Library! Open to local sanctuary seeking communities, and those long settled in the area, this will be a chance to explore a range of different texts, in different languages, and explore what they mean to us together.

Come to our first taster session to read from Our Dreams of Jasmine, a publication we made with Colour of Pomegranates participants and artist Jessica El Mal in 2023.

Texts will be in Arabic, Farsi and English and we’ll read and discuss them together. There’s no pressure to read, you’re welcome to just listen!

Open to men and women from the sanctuary seeking and settled communities in Bootle.
