LOCAL HISTORY TALK - David Hearn "Christmas Traditions in Britain and Around the World" In-Person
David will explain some of the Christmas traditions in Britain and around the World such as why we have robins on Christmas cards, in which city people go to church on roller skates on Christmas Day, the story of the Italian witch La Befana, why you wear red underwear in Spain at New Year, which shop hosted the very first Christmas grotto and why you may not enjoy Christmas Dinner in Greenland!
