Bootle Library - The Colour of Pomegranates: Sculpture Workshop with Mai Sanchez In-Person
Guest artist Mai Sanchez will lead us through a sculpture workshop using natural, tactile materials, repetition and pattern-making.
When making work in galleries, Mai’s installations incorporate Filipino materials such as Capiz shells, jute string and bamboo in large-scale structures that reflect inner landscapes.
In this workshop she invites you to enjoy the meditative, grounding and calming processes of creative making using culturally specific and significant materials.
