Bootle Library - Creative Summer Play In-Person
Join us over the summer holidays for artist-led creative play for school starters!
August’s sessions will be led by theatre-makers Emma Hirons. You can book your place for the earlier workshops with Abi Lake here.
Each morning will offer fun, relaxed activities using our bodies, voices and imaginations to explore themes of bravery, trying new things, different emotions and celebrating ourselves. We'll read 'Don't Worry Little Crab' by Chris Houghton together and do a craft activity inspired by the illustrations in the book.
Child-led and free-flowing, the sessions are aimed at pre-schoolers aged 3-4, especially those heading into Reception this September (younger/older siblings welcome - there will be self-led summer reading challenge activities and lego available for older siblings).
Please book for every child AND adult attending.
