Bootle - The Colour of Pomegranates - Lino Printing In-Person
Lino printing workshop with Haseebah Ali
In this workshop, Haseebah will show us how to use lino to print onto fabric. The designs we make will be inspired by the symbolism around pomegranates, as they are in many cultures recognised as a symbol of growth and protection.
Haseebah Ali is an artist and arts educator based in Birmingham. Her work is centered around storytelling and conveying that through a visual language of printmaking. Her artistic aim is to create work that not only educates her but the audience to which it is viewed, and occasionally contains themes of culture, community and politics.'
