Crosby Library - "Merseyside's Lost World of Sport" Talk In-Person
Across Sefton and indeed the whole of Merseyside the history of sport holds special resonance. It's part of our DNA. But many of the places where great sporting moments were played out have disappeared, often without trace. In this talk, former BBC and Liverpool Echo sports correspondent Charlie Lambert uncovers some of the former stadiums and sports grounds, tells their stories, and finds out what's happened to the locations since.
