Crosby Library - The Outrageous Mr Fox Cooper In-Person
Local history talk, Susan Bennetts looks at Mr Fox Cooper a Victorian scoundrel causing havoc and leaving unpaid debts at theatres across London. An obituary of him at the time read “shifty in every sense of the word, for he changed his address at least fifty times and the safest place to look for him was in the debtor's prison”.
